Do you take a percentage of my booking revenue?

No. RYDE charges a flat monthly fee only. Every dollar your customers pay goes directly into your own Stripe account. We have no visibility into your booking amounts and take zero percentage of your revenue — now or ever.

Is there a long-term contract?

No contracts on any plan. The $3,000 complete solution setup fee and the $299 managed install fee are one-time costs — not commitments to a term. Monthly fees are month-to-month. Cancel anytime with no penalty.

What's the total first-year cost for the complete solution?

$3,000 setup + ($199 × 12 months) = $5,388 for your first year fully operational. Compare that to hiring a designer ($2,000–5,000), booking software ($99–299/mo), hosting, SMS tools, and fleet software separately — which typically runs $6,000–$12,000+ in year one, plus your time.

Can I start with the plugin and upgrade to the complete solution later?

Yes. You can migrate at any time — your booking history, customer data, and pricing configurations all carry over. The $3,000 complete solution setup fee applies at that point. The migration itself doesn't cost extra.

What does the monthly fee actually cover?

For the complete solution: hosting, SSL, security monitoring, all software updates, maintenance, and support. For plugin plans: the full platform license, all software updates and new features, and email support. You're responsible for your own WordPress hosting costs separately (typically $20–80/mo).

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your booking history, customer records, and payment data are all exportable at any time in CSV format. For complete solution operators, your domain is registered in your name and transferred immediately on cancellation. For plugin operators, your WordPress site stays fully intact — you simply deactivate the plugin.

Are there any hidden fees I should know about?

None from RYDE. Stripe charges standard payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction) — that's Stripe's fee, not ours, and it goes to Stripe directly. If you use SMS notifications, Twilio charges small per-message fees. That's it. No setup surprises, no overage fees, no feature unlocks.

Can I upgrade from Starter to Managed Install or White Label?

Yes, anytime. Moving to Managed Install adds the $299 one-time setup fee if you haven't paid it. Moving to White Label changes your monthly rate to $249 from your next billing cycle. Downgrades work the same way — changes take effect at the next billing date.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, on the Plugin Starter tier. You get 14 days of full platform access with no credit card required — install the plugin, configure your pricing, connect Stripe or Square, and process real bookings before paying anything. Business-in-a-Box doesn't have a free trial because our team does real work to build and launch your site. For that path, schedule a demo instead — we'll walk you through everything the platform does and give you a straight answer on whether it fits your operation before you commit to anything.

What if my fleet grows — do I need to upgrade or pay more?

No. RYDE is flat-fee on every plan — add as many drivers, vehicles, routes, or bookings as you want without your monthly cost going up. We don't charge per-ride, per-booking, per-driver, or per-vehicle. Your $99 or $199 stays $99 or $199 whether you're processing 50 rides a month or 5,000. Operators upgrade tiers when they want more from our team (managed install, white label, dedicated manager) — not when they want more from the software.
